Registered Social Worker | Counsellor | Trauma-Informed Practitioner
Melissa offers a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to be yourself. She believes in meeting each person exactly where they are — with compassion, respect, and curiosity — and working collaboratively toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
With over ten years of experience as a registered social worker, Melissa has supported individuals of all ages through a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, grief, and life transitions. She also has extensive experience working with individuals managing mental health diagnoses, learning differences, physical health conditions, and family or parenting-related concerns.
Melissa is especially skilled in supporting those affected by workplace psychological trauma and occupational stress injuries. She is deeply committed to educating others on the prevention, mitigation, and treatment of workplace mental health challenges — helping individuals and organizations build healthier, more resilient environments. Her therapeutic approach draws on narrative therapy and strengths-based practices, and is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and culturally responsive.
Melissa works with clients to explore their stories, develop coping strategies, and reconnect with their strengths and values — all in support of achieving their personal goals. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking long-term support, Melissa is here to support you with empathy, experience, and care.
